Our vision is that every needy child receives one daily meal in their place of education.

With Mary’s Meals we dare to dream. As more and more people become involved in the Mary’s Meals movement we look forward to the day when every needy child is offered a daily meal in school. Mary’s Meals began in Malawi and Malawi is still the main focus of the campaign. This is because we have the people and infrastructure in place to expand the Mary’s Meals programme just as quickly as funds become available.

To bring this about we need your help whether through; donations, prayer, your time or your skills. If you are interested in the various ways you can help Mary’s Meals you will find lots of information at the How To Help section

We can even give an approximate cost on the realisation of this dream.

The World Food Programme (WFP) figures tell us that there are:

400 million chronically hungry children in the world.

77 million primary school-aged children who do not go to school.

Mary’s Meals for Malawi
To provide every school age child in Malawi with Mary’s Meals would cost approximately £20 million.  According to a recent survey the UK will spend over £27 million on Christmas gifts for their pets this year (not of course that we have anything against pets!).  The Mary’s Meals vision is to give every child a daily meal in their place of education.  This is not an impossible dream.
