Mary’s Meals Wales are appealing for some dry storage space for the backpacks that have been collected from Schools here in Wales. Our shipping container in Cwmbran is getting damp and we are seeking alternative storage space.
All of the backpacks collected in Wales have now been transfered to the Glasgow warehouse and are scheduled to join the container leaving port for Africa on the 5th August.

The Welsh Assembly staff are in the process of choosing a Charity that they would like to work with and donate to via Payroll Giving.
The Mary’s Meals Wales team, including Nick Barton and volunteers Rosaria Hicks, Elena Phipps and Rhys Bain (Welsh speaker) manned a Mary’s Meals stand in the foyer of the Welsh Assembly office in Cardiff. The CEO of Mary’s Meals Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow was also there handing out leaflets and seeking votes…
