Digital Officer - Websites 12 month FTC

Mary’s Meals International is delighted to be recruiting for a talented Digital Officer to join our Communications team here in Glasgow. Supporting the delivery of our online journeys and experiences through our websites, CRM and email, you will thrive in a busy, varied role supporting the Mary’s Meals global family. Working within our digital team, you will work closely with our external partners and in-house IT team, in shaping and delivering great experiences for our supporters.

Reporting to our Head of Digital, your key duties will include:

  • working with project teams and partners on the integration of digital marketing activities; including websites, CRM, analytics and email;
  • creating and writing requirements for development teams and follow up testing as required;
  • produce and change content and assets for the digital journeys, including working with multi-national stakeholders to shape and support their journeys, offering support and guidance where possible; and
  • developing and maintaining website quality. Includes accuracy, technical standards, accessibility and following SEO best practice to maximise user engagement and reach.

You will bring a positive approach to managing your workload and will have excellent project coordination skills, as you will be working across a variety of projects and deadlines. A strong team focus, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also key to success in this role.

You will also bring:

  • knowledge of and experience with different CMS systems;
  • good understanding of emailing marketing best practice and email platforms; and
  • experience of CRM and marketing automation systems to deliver supporter insight and communications;
  • the ability to gather, analyse and understand digital analytics, via Google Analytics;
  • proven experience of creating innovative solutions and staying abreast of new developments and technologies.
