Kerala Floods

Emergency Appeal

Thank you for your support!

Following severe flooding in Kerala in August 2018, we launched an emergency campaign to help families affected by the devastation.

We were amazed by the generous support received from donors around the world, which enabled us to provide essential supplies to families returning from camps to find their homes severely damaged and livelihoods destroyed.

Working with our longstanding partner in India, we provided emergency food to 13,000 families in two of the worst affected villages in the flood-ravaged Alappuzha District, as well as distributing 2,000 cooking kits and 1,000 portable gas stoves to those identified as being most in need.

You can still support the work of Mary’s Meals – to provide daily meals to children in some of the world’s poorest communities every school day – by selecting your country below.

If your country is not listed, please select international.
