Mary’s Meals International is delighted to be recruiting for a Learning & Development Advisor to join our growing People team here in Glasgow. As Learning & Development Advisor, you will play a key role in driving the L&D strategy across Mary’s Meals as we strive to become a learning organisation. L&D is a growing function within Mary’s Meals and this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with stakeholders at all levels to create innovative training and development solutions, designed to drive high performance and ultimately allow us to feed more children in a place of education. 
Reporting to our Head of Learning & Development, you will bring a positive, creative approach to training course design, development and delivery. You will thrive in a fast paced, varied role and you may have the opportunity to create and deliver training in our feeding programmes in Liberia, Malawi, Zambia and Kenya. 
Key duties:

• Support our Head of L&D to identify training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, PDR’s and regular consultation with our HR Partners

• Research and design training programs including sourcing relevant materials and or external providers as necessary

• Work closely with key members of our People team to ensure all L&D policies, procedures and processes are up to date

• Provide support in the delivery of the Mary’s Meals Leadership Academy

• Work closely with our Head of L&D and HR Partners to enhance the pipeline of future talent

• Assess employee development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities within the organisation

• Assist and coach line managers in solving specific training problems in partnership with our HR Partners

• Provide support to the Mary’s Meals induction plan.  

With exceptional communication and relationship building skills, you will be a team focused individual with demonstrable experience of the following:  
• Delivery of engaging and participative training courses

• Design and development of innovative training solutions

• Working within an L&D function

• Proficiency in administering LMS and e-learning platforms would be desirable but not essential.
