Programmes Analyst, Glasgow (Fixed-term - 1 Year)

Mary’s Meals International is delighted to be recruiting for a Programmes Analyst to provide effective operational and administrative support to the Mary’s Meals school feeding programmes. Working in collaboration with our Programme Affiliates and wider Programmes team, along with other MMI functions, you will support highly effective programme implementation and delivery. You will be proactive, organised and be skilled in developing strong working relationships across the Mary’s Meals family and wider network. With a genuine desire to serve our mission, you will contribute to continuous improvement projects and activities across our programmes to ensure quality, stewardship and simplicity in our programmes.

Reporting to our Assistant Director of Programmes, you will thrive in a busy, varied role where no two days are the same. We are currently feeding children in 18 countries and you will take on tracking of planning, preparation and implementation of any agreed expansions and will have the opportunity to support the exploration and assessment of new programme opportunities.

Other key areas of responsibility include:

·Coordinating and supporting internal projects and activities that help further enhance our model and delivery.

·Build highly effective, trusted relationships with programme affiliates to support monitoring, reporting, budgets, fund transfers, food orders, etc.

·Supporting efforts to ensure our programmes are delivered to our agreed plans.

·Supporting alignment to our school feeding and delivery models, and support efforts to ensure our programmes have strong focus on quality, stewardship and simplicity.

·Proactively analyse our programmes, using data to support continuous improvement. 

With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be degree qualified or equivalent, with proven experience of developing collaborative relationships and working across multiple projects concurrently. You will confident in producing high quality reporting for senior leadership, presenting your findings and strive for continuous improvement in everything you do. Experience of development work and using planning tools within an international development environment would be beneficial but not essential, however, the desire to make a positive change in the world and alignment with the values of our organisation, is essential.
