Inspired by our award-winning film Generation Hope, Gerry, our communications officer in Liberia, decided to capture the wonderful stories of some of our staff – who having received Mary’s Meals as children – are now helping future generations to learn and enjoy a nutritious school meal.

Jacob depended on the food he received in school, and is now a school feeding officer, who ensures the future is bright for a new generation in Liberia.

Moses is a school feeding officer in Grand Cape Mount, but he doesn’t see it as a job. He received Mary’s Meals in school, and is extremely happy to be contributing to our mission of providing a daily meal to hungry children in their place of education.

Varney is proud to work for Mary’s Meals as a school feeding officer, helping other children to receive the meals that supported him through school.

Before receiving Mary’s Meals, Daniel used to worry about where his next meal would come from. He is now a county manager for Mary’s Meals and makes sure that children enjoy daily meals in school.
