Mary’s Meals is only made possible by passionate, dedicated people like these…

Tying the knot

Congratulations to newlyweds Annalisa and Egisto from Italy! The happy couple very generously chose to raise funds for Mary’s Meals on their big day. They also prepared beautiful Mary’s Meals-themed favours for their guests.

A refreshing idea

A Canadian school boy’s can-do attitude has raised more than $460 to help hungry children in Malawi. Andre from St. Adolphe in Manitoba, set up an iced tea stand, then moved on to collecting cans from his neighbours. The 11-year-old presented Mary’s Meals founder and chief executive, Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow with a cheque at the Marian Conference in Winnipeg in August.

Top marks

Children at a school in Tyrol, Austria sold soup, healthy snacks, handmade jewellery and delicious home baking to raise funds for Mary’s Meals.

The pupils were inspired by their teacher, Mrs Ursula Marihart, who has pledged to feed 1,000 hungry children before she retires next year.

Going the extra mile

Supporters from Slavonski Brod in Croatia held a fun-filled weekend of events to raise funds for Mary’s Meals. The programme kicked off with a quiz night, followed by a family fun-run.

More than 280 people took part in the one kilometre children’s run and the six-mile run for adults.

There are many different ways you can help by donating your time, money, thoughts and prayers.
