Youth Ambassadors: Global Youth Challenge 2024
Global Youth Challenge
Every school day many children across our school feeding programme countries walk huge distances just to get to school. For many of these children, they are driven by their desire to get their education as well the nutrition they get from the meals provided at school.
In solidarity with these children, and for World Hunger Day (28 May 2024), we’re asking the young people (aged 16-25) in our movement to take part in a physical activity throughout the month of May to help raise awareness of the work that we do.
How to get involved
You can take part in our Global Youth Challenge in a number of ways! There are no restrictions on the physical challenge that you undertake but we’ve included some below for anyone looking for inspiration!
All that we ask is that any challenge you undertake takes place in May in the run up to World Hunger Day 2024 on the 28th of May! We’d also love for you to share your challenge with us on social media by using the hashtag #GlobalYouthChallenge.
Fundraising
If you want to raise funds for Mary's Meals as part of your challenge you can do so by setting up a fundraising page through Mary's Meals in your country. Simply click on the globe icon at the top right hand corner of the page and choose your country from the list shown!
If your country isn't available from the drop down list, then you can set up a fundraising page through Mary's Meals International by clicking here.
