What we do
Mary’s Meals provides life-changing school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities. The promise of a good meal brings hungry children into the classroom, where they can gain an education and better opportunities for the future. Our meals make it possible for hungry children to come to school and give them the energy they need to concentrate and participate in class.
We are already serving more than 2.6 million children every school day – and, together, we can reach the next hungry child waiting for Mary’s Meals. It costs just £19.15 to provide a child with meals in a place of education for a whole school year.
Where we work
Mary’s Meals works in 16 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East. We partner with local communities and places of education to deliver our school feeding programme. Our meals are cooked and served by community volunteers and, wherever possible, are made using locally produced food, thereby supporting the local economy.
Together, we are helping to transform the lives of children in desperate need.
