Graphic for Rise: A Liberian Story.

When Mary's Meals began serving school meals in Liberia in 2006, the country was recovering from the devastating effects of two civil wars. As communities rebuilt, school feeding offered children nourishment, hope and the opportunity to learn.

Twenty years on, this new film reflects on the lasting impact of school feeding and the role it has played in supporting children, families and communities. Featuring voices from those who once received Mary's Meals as children, it tells a powerful story of resilience, opportunity and generational change.

Watch the film below and discover how a simple meal in a place of learning can leave a legacy that lasts far beyond the classroom.

I am who I am today because of Mary's Meals and all of those that are supporting Mary’ s Meals.
