UK – a personal best at the London Marathon

On 27 April, Graeme Little, Chief Officer – Operations at Mary's Meals International, took part in the 2025 London Marathon, raising more than £900 to help feed children in their place of education. As one of the 56,640 athletes that set out to run the 26.2-mile route, Graeme was fueled by the support of family, friends and the incredible atmosphere of one of the most iconic marathons in the world. 

Some of the most memorable moments of the day for Graeme was the overwhelming support he received from spectators, volunteers and fellow runners. Graeme also met and chatted with celebrity DJ Chris Evans who has previously showcased Mary's Meals on his popular Virgin Radio breakfast show!

Finishing with a personal best of 4:10:38, Graeme said: "The volunteers, crowd and fellow runners all created the most inspiring atmosphere and event, truly highlighting the same innate goodness of humanity that we cherish so deeply in the Mary's Meals movement."

His accomplishment is not only a testament to his physical endurance but also a celebration of his commitment to raising funds for Mary's Meals.
