UK – sweet treats raise funds

The Kandy Bar Bakery, a cherished local Ayrshire establishment, generously donated branded cookies to Mary's Meals for a recent staff event. The delicious, branded cookies were sold to staff and together with other fundraising activities has raised over £2,100 to provide meals at Kalopa Primary School in Malawi. 

Bakery owner, Stephen McAllister said: "We’re delighted to contribute to Mary's Meals and their mission to alleviate hunger among children in some of the poorest countries of the world. They can do this for as little as £19.15 per year.”

This act of kindness highlights the award-winning bakery’s commitment and dedication to giving back.
